Example advice

We don't just cover UK Horse racing, we offer excellent advice on Football. This is much easier to trade than Horse racing and it may well suit you. Look at the advice below and you will see the advice form Saturday 6th February. Even if you didn't trade the Hull v Man City game as advised, the other games would pay for a subscription quite easily and that is from just 1 day. We have had plenty of successful trades on the football and it pays for clients' subscriptions and then allows them not only to profit but to also learn new techniques to help them improves their own trading.

Liverpool v Everton

Liverpool continue to stutter under Benitez and their recent goal scoring record isn't brilliant. In 12 out of 17 recent matches they have had < 2.5 goals and that includes their last 3 home games. If you then look at the Derby matches 5/6 have had less the 2.5 goals. If you look at Everton they have also had 6/7 of their recent games with less than 2.5 goals. The game will probably start off at a frenetic pace and there may well be goalmouth incidents but these games usually flatter to deceive and goals don't materialise. I will play the Under 2.5 goals market as I have this priced at 1.60 and it is currently available at 1.80. If you want to play the goals market then I suggest covering 0-0 1-0 0-1 1-1. If you include 0-0 then you must be aware that any goal ruins the bet so perhaps omit the 0-0 as no goals will also see 1-0 and 0-1 shrink as time goes on.

A good result on under 2.5 goals or 1-0 on the correct score. There are only 6 minutes of normal time left and it's 1-0 to Liverpool. The goal didn't come until the 73rd minute so 0-0 1-0 all looked good! Let's hope the rest of the matches follow suit!

Bolton v Fulham

Owen Coyle will surely be pleased they are not playing Arsenal or Liverpool again! He started out with three tough games but Bolton managed to win the last game at home against...errr...Burnley and that was 1-0. This is another of those games where they could defy all of the stats and go goal crazy but I prefer to stick with the stats and say this will be another Under 2.5 goals match. Against teams like Fulham Bolton have produced less than 2.5 goals in 11/18 games! Fulham are also struggling to score and scraped a win against Fulham at Craven Cottage. They have not won away from home since the season began and 5/7 of those last away games have produced less than 2.5 goals. Owen Coyle I am sure will want to build consistency into his new team so I don't see this being the most exciting game of the weekend. I will play under 2.5 goals at 1.8 because I have this priced at 1.50-1.55. If you want to play the correct score then I suggest 1-0 1-1. You may want to include 0-0 but the usual caveat applies!

This is a really dull game if the reports are anything to go by!! Jeff Stelling almost has to wake Chris Kamara who looks totally disinterested. I took this screen shot around the 26th minute which is my usual trading out time.

Hull City v Man City

This is going to be a more complex trade because I will switch allegiance if things pan out as expected. Hull have an amazing home record and Chelsea had to find out the hard way! However, the point against Chelsea was the only one against top teams and I think Man City will be too strong for them in the end. I will play Under 2.5 goals at the start of the game as I feel Hull will play very defensive and try to frustrate Man City. Apart from last week's goal extravaganza they have very few goals scored and in particular in the first half where they defend well. I will take the Under 2.5 market and then take some of that profit and place it on Over 2.5 goals around half time. I feel that if this trade goes well then we could make extra profit as Man City should get the better of Hull in the end and come away with the victory. We won't need more than 2.5 goals provided they score before the 65th Minute because the price will shorten sufficient to provide a profit.

I traded out at 25 minutes as usual and put some money on the overs Market. I was very lucky because Hull scored about 4 minutes later!!

This is a sample advice as sent to our clients on Tuesday 21 July 2009

14:15 Yarmouth. We have looked at this race many times and we think the most likely outcome is a drift on King's Bayonet. We expect there to be some support for Quaestor the way the money is lining up. This could be yet another push pull market with the favourite drifting and that being accentuated by support for Quaestor. They could end up changing positions

14:30 Ffos Las. The favourite should settle around the 2.5 mark but it could also attract support which pushes it to around 2.4. We don't see this price drifting out much. The 2nd and 3rd favourites could drift a bit more so watch their prices as larger drifts will bring the price of the favourite down again

You can see from the screen shots taken of the Betfair market data, the favourite’s price was pushed in and made stronger due to the drift on the 2nd and 3rd favourites in the market. Our clients once again enjoyed a strong trade that produced good profits. They opened their position on the favourite as the anticipated contraction of the price began. As advised, they monitored the price of the 2nd and 3rd favourites and as they drifted clients were able to hold their position and grab extra profit.
